The Pursuit

David is sitting in front of Declan.

David is a informing voice "It is that incident.” “I could only hear up to that point, probably my piece transmitter was discovered, or accidently dropped to a water. " as he says this he did not believe it himself. He takes a pause. He frowns his glowing black face , looking down which he does when he does some critical thinking. He has never been a good Poker player.

"If they destroyed my piece, they should still be holding me" questions himself mumbling.

Declan was not listening to David’s mumbling. His face has been grin the whole time. He is emotional. He is frustrated at himself. He is worried

He murmurs "My sins come back to haunt my family",

"Did you say something Declan" David

"No Dave. I know what I need to do"

”what can you do?”

“ First thing is first, I must inform Sara. My family’s safety is first"

David nods as in Yes. “If you are fine, I can extend two men detail further”

“No, I can’t ask you anymore. Sara and Angie can stay with Paul and Janet.” “Paul and her pals are military trained. I will inform him too.” Mid sentence Declan pauses and tells to himself “I may skip telling Janet. She is not a fan of me”

David and Declan both sit for few more seconds in silence. Declan looks at the reflection of JD in David’s glass. He seriously contemplating drinking, even that may react with PTSD medicine and make him crazy. He would better be crazy than being in this situation. He keeps staring the drink thinking “How am I going to talk to Sara”. But he has to. Declan comes to a determination at this point.
