Story

At the time of USA - Afghan war around 2002 ,Declan O Reily, a major in Marine core participates in the war as a remote drone operator targeting an enemy gathering in a Kandahar house. His expertise was deemed by higher authorities to avoid collateral damages. Unfortunately, he drops bomb on a nearby home who gathered for a birthday party of an Eight year old girl. As a result he gets dishonorably discharged,  gets PTSD and has to go to a therapy for which his wife Sara pays.

Seven years later the sole escapee from the Kandahar incident, Angar, the father of the Eight year girl shows up at NYC where Declan lives. He follows around Declan and his Six year old Daughter Angela. At one point Declan realizes who Angar is through his friend David who is a on job spy. Declan decides to take things to his own hands and decides to look for Angar and handle it once in for all. He sends out Sara and Angela to stay at her Dad’s in Scranton, PA. Paul, Sara’s father

While Declan is looking for Angar, He was also looking for Declan and finds him and kidnaps him. He Kidnaps Angela is also her safe place even though Sara and her father Paul try to stop the kidnapping in a tactical gun fight but Angar succeeds.

When Declan wakes up , he realizes Angela is also kidnapped. Angar and Declan come face to face. In an interesting twist of events, when someone in Angar's team tries to hurt Angela, Angar kills him, Declan realizes that Angar and few others are undercover in a sleeper cell operation. Declan is still not aware of entire plan. But he realizes that Angar is not aware of his connection to the Kandahar incident. Though Angar is on his side, he is worried that Angar could realize the truth anytime and still hurt Angela.

At this point audience are disclosed of NRD’s plan to infiltrate the sleeper cell to identify its top commander. Initially NRD does not want Declan to work with Angar due their history, but eventually the timeline forces them to allow Declan to be used as bait for the top commander.

Finally the commander arrives, the plan is revealed to the audience while still keeping Declan and Angar in dark. The commander is aware of  Declan's connection to the Kandahar incident . He uses it as leverage to exploit Declan's talent.

The Drone error incident is a real incident during Afghan war. The story mixed the real incident with imagination and then conveys a very important virtue of humans. The opportunity to do something right seldom comes your way. When someone chooses to do it right, they almost never get recognized. Only negative side of human nature gets recognized, never the positive side. The movie climax highlights the positive side of a hurt human being which goes beyond his personal impulse.
