1965 Indo - Pak war in Jammu & Kashmir

An American teenager in 1965 is a rebel of her time in terms of being independent and trying to make all decisions herself. She is at constant odds with her orthodox mother. She travels to Southern part of the India with her Indian friend for a family marriage get together. She meets the Indian's Cousin and they fall for each other. Jammu & Kashmir is at the hot seat at the time between India and Pak . The Indian state’s locals also want to claim it as Independent autonomous region. So , when the girl and friends try to plan for the trip to Kashmir since it is also a touring spot and summer is the good time to visit, She was restricted by her Mother (her Father stays back in USA). So she elopes with friends in the dark of the night and goes with her friends to Kashmir. Unfortunately the Gorilla fighters from Pak side invade Jammu & Kashmir  where she gets caught in the middle of the invasion. The Indian friend gets injured and left behind. Meanwhile The Indian boy is drafted and goes to Kashmir. Her mother also traces the scent with his help and tries to bring the daughter back herself. They all meet in one place in the darks of the forest. The teen is scared and happy to see her mother , but the mother gets killed in the cross fire. The teen could not even cry out loud because the Indian Guy knocks her to save her from being uncontrollably emotional and get in trouble. He also gets killed in action. The teen then gets in the opposition's camp and hides in an army jeep which crosses to Pak Area safe zone. The Pak Army officer belongs to a Palestinian family displaced in 1948 Nakba. The American being Jew , she gets a lot of Hatred in the Army officer's neighborhood. 4 brothers and a mother in an Anti-Jewish neighborhood. They discover the girl in the Jeep and rescue her. When the neighborhood learns about the Jewish teen they are outraged, some teen boys even try to harm her. The Mother makes her son's to promise her to protect the girl at any cost. Eventually the brother's get killed in the sword style fights and die at their mother's lap protecting the girl. She is eventually saved by Pak Army and makes it to US. Her mother is lost to the history, could not even find her body. She feels this till her old in Age

In 2020, her Grand Daughter has rocky relations with her mother (old teen's Daughter), She leaves her mother to stay with her grand Mother. There she learns the story happened in 1965 and the importance of Mother - Daughter relationship. At the end of the film three girls standing together and watching a mother going for a walk with a baby stroller. Baby rhymes in the background and end
